Delaware State University Fires Head Football Coach

When it comes to football, losing is a part of the game.  Just like finding apartment for rent in Atlanta, failure is not an option since he could be quite cold with no place to live. But apartments for rent in Atlanta are so affordable and close to potential teams needing football coaches, he will have a new job and great apartment.

No team can win every single game for years on end. While losing might be a part of the game, having a losing season three straight years in a row can spell disaster for the head coach of the team and that is exactly what happened at Delaware State University.
Al Lavan was the head coach of the Delaware State University football team. The team was last in a conference championship in 2007 but has yet to even come close to making any type of championship in the past three years.

While a competitive college such as Delaware State University might look the other way for one losing season, it doesn’t look the other way after three straight years of losing. After Delaware State University failed to make it to a conference championship in 2010, the athletic department was forced to make a tough decision. They had to decide to give Al Lavan another chance as there were some successful periods with him as head football coach, or to let him go and find a new head football coach.

On Dec. 2, 2010 the decision was made by athletic director Derek Carter. A press release was sent out to all the major media outlets announcing the decision. That decision was to send Al Lavan packing and name Rayford Petty, currently the team’s defensive coordinator, as interim head football coach.

The University of Delaware wishes Al Lavan all the success in the world but realizes that after three years of not having a successful football season, it’s time to possibly send him packing and looking for apartments for rent in Atlanta. With one championship under his belt this won’t be the last football fans see of Al Lavan.

Seeking the Seasons: Scottsdale Property Management

Official seal of City of Scottsdale
Image via Wikipedia

It’s the shift of seasons, the darkening of a sun: winter has finally come to the west, offering the promise of cool breezes and easy days. The temperatures will be tamed, it’s believed. The heat of summer will fall. These months will offer relief from the Arizona endlessness, allowing all to seek the desert and revel in its miles. Breaths will no longer be strained, burdened by parched inhalations and weak release. Skin will no longer burn, forced to remain in shadows and avoid the dawn. There will be comfort. There will be convenience.

There will be… more of the same complications that were revealed in spring.

The season isn’t kind. It’s just a duller heat. And that cannot be tolerated any longer. The need for snow and slick air is overwhelming; the desire for a winter without sunny skies can’t be ignored. You’re seeking more than your career in Scottsdale property management can afford you. You’re instead looking for the cold.

And Delaware seems suddenly appealing.

Cradled along the northeastern curl of the United States, Delaware is a tiny escape. Its ocean borders and hill stuffed miles mark it far different than the rough beauty of Arizona. Instead it is a topographical ease, ideal for the changing seasons — when valleys are drenched to snow and ridges become excuses for skiing. It is a collection of parks, trails and natural wonders. And all will revel in its attractions.

Devoting another month to the warm days and hot nights of Scottsdale seems impossible. You fret over the rising climates, the thermometer revelations. They are simply too much to bear. And so Delaware becomes the obvious solution — with its historic streets certain to charm and its ice-bound activities sure to please, it’s the only choice for you to make.

It’s time for a change. It’s time for a winter that won’t disappoint. Delaware is waiting.

Too Much of a Good Thing Can Lead to Bankruptcy

With Delaware’s coastal proximity, beach culture is a way of life in the region. A Facebook page from someone who is from this area is likely to include plenty of ocean, beach, and swimsuit photographs, along with the other usual activities that people get involved with. One might take this access for granted if they come from near the coastal shores, but this is quite different than what is available in many other parts of the country. Someone from Montana, for example, whose high latitude keeps the region much cooler than the national average, might well have few opportunities to get to the beach on a balmy 90 degree day. That’s because 90 degree days are rare in their part of the world!

But if others aren’t able to partake in dripping ice cream cones as they stroll the beaches and their boardwalks, it’s a loss that can be rectified with a well-chosen vacation. There are so many beach parties and events in Delaware, including concerts and swimsuit competitions, one might wonder if some of these people don’t require a bit of bankruptcy information as they party their way into financial issues. As some people learn the hard way, humans are inclined towards repeating experiences that they find favorable.

Just as getting a drug high is an addictive process that eventually takes over one’s life, seemingly leaving them devoid of choices concerning their fate, so too can beach culture’s darker side appeal to some people. Beach bums, as people derisively call them, are people who merely let their enjoyment of the beach, the waves, the partying, the salty coastal air, and the positive vibes always present at the shorelines, get the better of them. Seemingly unable to resist repeating the scene, these ordinary people head back to the beach, or never really leave, so much that it becomes their life.
